MEET REN

Follow this Adventure!

WELL HELLO THERE, BEAUTIFUL SOUL! I’M REN!

Thank you for stopping in to my blog and showing some love!

A little about me? Where do I begin. LOL.

Full disclosure– I can be a hot freaking mess (I’m an Aquarius, give me a break!). I am 26 years young, born and raised in the sunshine state of Florida. NO, I HAVE NEVER SEEN SNOW. A girl can dream! I have an embarrassing amount of bachelor’s degrees from The Florida State University, I will spare you. GO NOLES! Proud pit bull mama to my bay girl, Lua. She is my spirit animal to a T. I am engaged to a pretty cool guy to say the least, shout out the SLOAN ZONE himself. I have been a registered nurse for two years and some change specializing in critical care medicine. I typically live in Naples, Florida but I have temporarily moved to Greenpoint, Brooklyn to aid in the current COVID crisis. Besides eating copious amounts of pizza in my free time, I am an outdoorsy kinda gal with a splash of artsy fartsy tendencies from time to time. I love reading, writing, dancing in my PJ’s to 90’s smash hits, playing the saxophone, traveling the world, and have been told i have a knack for finding the best memes. Yeah, thats enough about me. Lets get to the good stuff!

From a young age, I have always had a strong fascination for the human condition. The more research, experience, patient interactions, and knowledge that I have acquired through my practice, the greater my curiosity and love for the human condition continues to grow.I feel incredibly honored and privileged to be a part this opportunity to be on the frontlines of this pandemic—to brave, to be a helping hand, and to be a fighter for humanity during this devastating health crisis.

It was once said by Mother Theresa that, “It is not about HOW MUCH you do, but HOW MUCH LOVE you put into what you do that counts” *UGH, BIG VIBES*

I just wanted to say thank you to my fiancé, my family, my friends, my colleagues, my mentors, and to and every wonderful human being who has supported me through this chaotic, exciting time.
I will be documenting this entire adventure (like the nurse that I am LOL) with pictures, videos, and writing for this unique adventure, stay tuned!
